“Giles visited The Billericay School in July 2013. He spoke to the year 12 General Studies students about his varied life as a photographer and then organised a photographic master class on portraiture with the year 10 students. Many staff and students have commented on how inspirational the whole day was and it has subsequently inspired many students into taking part in photographic and charitable projects. In terms of raising awareness and promoting a humanitarian concept it was an excellent use of educational funds and a day we will undoubtedly endeavour to repeat.”

“Giles was fantastic on the day, such a great presenter and relevant for our audience. Feedback from our team included, ‘moving and inspirational’, ‘down to earth, poignant and refreshing’, ‘inspiring and humbling’, and ‘he put everything we do into perspective’. One commented, ‘Giles Duley’s speech was phenomenal. He was very inspirational and has such a fantastic attitude to life. I absolutely loved his talk,’ and another, ‘if I had to choose one thing above all else [as a highlight of the conference] it was the talk from Giles. I found it inspirational and humbling to listen to his experiences.”
